My personal choice could settle on either Gen. Clark, Sen. Biden, of VP Gore. That being said, however, I have no brief against any of the present field.

Between Senators Clinton and Obama I would lean slightly to Obama.

Gov. Richardson did himself no favors with his clumsiness around the "Gay" issue recently.

I think when Bush leaves office (hopefully without any incident) and is proceeded by a thoughtful, intelligent and dedicated public servant (i.e. one of the democratic candidates), only then can we start to have a real conversation about what these Bush years have truly cost us.

For whom are you rooting in 2008?

    Re: Left hand salute.

On a military ship that still uses a bos'un pipe, when a flag officer or the Captain is piped aboard or leaving, most Bos'un mates will use their right hand for the pipe (it's a small whistle that can be played with the hand cupped over the bowel.) Since the officer is saluted by all on deck, the Bos'un mate is permitted to use his/her left hand to render the salute while piping.

    Clever huh?

I wish I knew that was your order - I would have included some bumper stickers in there. Let me know next time!

Hmmm...I am not sure who is allowed to salute with their left hand. My first instinct is that it's someone high up, but that would make him/her easy to pick out (and pick off in a war). I don't know - the postmaster general? They seem to do things backwards.

Also, please let me know what feedback you have on the site. I'd love to hear what you think!

    Hope you're well,
