    Congratulations to us all.

Sunday, November 9, 2008, 10:39 PM EST [General]

Whether you were out canvasing, making phone calls or just talking to your friends ad family about why you support Barack Obama, you should feel very proud of yourself.  Electing Barack Obama as President of the US is not only historic for the obvious reasons, but was the first step towards restoring America's place in the world and restoring many people's faith in our country.  A McCain/Palin administration would have only continued the slash and burn politics that have damaged this country so badly these past 8 years and would likely have put us past the point of no return: culturally, economically, environmentally and geopolitically.

    Congratulations to us all.

    SUPER TUESDAY!

Saturday, February 2, 2008, 05:43 PM EST [General]

In only a few short days it will be Super Tuesday.  I'm sure everyone on here is planning on voting if you live in a state that is holding a Democratic primary on that date.  But let's be sure to make sure we get everyone we know to head out and vote.  This is a very important Presidential campaign, and every single vote counts.  We can't afford to let another castrophe happen!!!!

Police break up anti-war meeting in Washington

Friday, September 7, 2007, 12:27 PM EST [General]

Here's an article from Yahoo News.  What happened to freedom of speech?  Has anyone else noticed that it's becoming increasingly difficult (and illegal) to express one's opinions regarding this administration and their gross incompetence?

    Hypocrisy!!!

Wednesday, August 29, 2007, 12:20 PM EST [The Others (Republicans)]

I can respect people who believe in something and stand for it. What I can't respect is the absolute hypocrisy of the Republican Party. These are people who are trying to pass laws to change people's lives - outlawing abortion, preventing gay marriage, shoving religion in my face, etc. And these very same people then go and engage in the exact behavior (if not worse) that they are raging against in public!

Ted Haggard, former leader of the national association of evangelicals - was paying for sex with a male prostitute.  Who was also selling him meth.

David Vitter, R was paying for prostitutes to sleep with him while he was wearing a diaper (I wonder if he had connections with the diaper lobby?)

Mark Foley - remember him and his affection for 16 year old male pages?

Here's another one - remember Jeff Guckert?  He was the guy with 0 press credentials who the Bush administration would plant in press conferences to ask staged questions.  He also ran on online newspaper that preached against the evils of homosexuality.  Oh yeah - almost forgot to mention that he was a male prostitute!

And most recently there's our friend Sen. Larry Craig, REPUBLICAN, who was recently arrested for soliciting homosexual sex in a men's room. Nice going.

My point is not that Republicans are the only ones who engage in this type of behavior. I'm sure it's rampant in Washington. However, Republicans are the only political party to build a platform on not only limiting the civil rights of homosexuals, but engaging in hate mongering against their lifestyle and their existence. How dare you pass laws that infringe on other people's happiness and then go home and enjoy what you've deprived others of?

When you say one thing and do another, like a few of our friends above, you are a HYPOCRIT, and that is the lowest of the low, and they deserve nothing but the worst.

    See ya Gonzo!

Monday, August 27, 2007, 09:03 AM EST [The Others (Republicans)]

Looks like our nation's attorney general has decided to resign.   Thank goodness.  All he's done since he's been in office is legalize torture, create illegal, domestic spy programs that violate the constitution, lie to congress and anyone else who wasn't a neocon, and basically leave a giant, slug like trail of mucus all over Washington D.C. and the Constitution.

One day the rest of the country will look back on this administration and wonder how we let things get so bad.  Let's hope we've learned from our mistakes.  In the meantime, let's hope that Gonzo gets a taste of the laws that he was so willing to bend and break as A.G.
